Full Circle Wellness, the holistic approach to Kinesiology, Nutrition & Fitness
You have to promise me that you are not going to turn your nose up at this recipe. You really have to hear me out. And try it. It is warm. It is creamy. It is crunchy. It is perfect for a cold night. And we also cannot forget that it’s green ~ can it get better?!
I, personally, never had a hatred of brussels sprouts when I found this recipe from Jenny Sansouci at Healthy Crush. But I’ve found that a lot of people are just not into them. The smell of the kitchen after making them makes me realize why…but once you taste them, I guarantee you will forget all about it. And your guests will too. They are just that good.
Ingredients:
Brussels sprouts – adjust to your appetite
Olive oil – lightly coat all of the sprouts
Sea salt + pepper to taste
Heat oven to 218˚C
Wash and cut the stems off. Don’t worry if some of the outside leaves fall off (they are good to munch on, too). Coat with olive oil, sea salt, and pepper in a bowl. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes. Check them at 25 min to make sure they are not burnt. Cut to make sure the middle is creamy. The outside will be dark brown and the middle will be soft and creamy.
Tell me in the comments below your initial opinion of them! And then tell me again your opinion after you try these wonderful balls of everything good in life.
Happy Baking.
