Full Circle Wellness Supports Santa Paws!

by Claire, 2 years ago

What is Santa Paws?
Santa Paws is a project that collects and distributes doggy bags to township dogs in need this Christmas.
All doggy bags will be distributed by African Tails to townships the Western Cape, such as Joe Slovo and Du Noon.

How do I get involved in Santa Paws?
1.      Put together a doggy bag for one of our four-legged friends. Items should include a few ‘essential’ items and a ‘toy’. Simply print out the template below, indicating whether you are making a doggy bag for an adult or a puppy (as medication and treats will vary depending on age) and attach to your package.

For a list of ideas on what to include, see our wish list below!

WISH LIST

  • de-worming tablets
  • flea shampoo
  • flea collar
  • small bag of dog food (or a large bag and we will divide it up on your behalf)
  • blanket
  • chew-toys (rawhide or rubber-please avoid stuffed animals, as they get dirty very quickly)
  • doggy biscuits
  • food and/or water bowl
  1. If you don’t have the time to create a doggy bag, you can make a general donation to African Tails for their sterilisation project, or alternatively mark your donation for ‘Santa Paws’ and one of our little helpers will create a doggy bag on your behalf!
