Full Circle Wellness, the holistic approach to Kinesiology, Nutrition & Fitness

Winter is HERE!

by Claire, 2 years ago

Our intern from Texas, Julienne has been hard at work putting together blog posts to keep us all here at Full Circle Wellness motivated this Winter – how awesome is she?
Here is her first post! Enjoy and keep coming back to check for more!

Winter is here!
I am going to be here to motivate you to keep working hard toward your fitness and wellness goals. Once the days get chilly and rainy, it’s not as easy to make the right choices toward feeling and looking your best – not when there is instant satisfaction from a warm pastry that is oh so tempting and swim suit season if far off.

But, that’s not what I’m here to talk about. We certainly don’t want to give even the slightest thought to those sneaky impulses and urges that can get the very best of us.

I’ve put together a good compilation in order for you to feel & look your best. I’ve included some of my favorite recipes, my favorite ingredients, some nutrition information, and advice on healthy living. I’ve even got a grocery list of all of the must-haves to add to your kitchen! Look out for these posts every Wednesday during June, July, & August!

And we can’t forget about exercise. It is recommended to get at least 30 minutes of activity five times a week or more that is moderate to high intensity in order to maintain your fitness level. During the summer, though, I know it’s hard to make yourself get up and go. And walks or runs outside aren’t likely with cold rain every day. I have prepared six workouts for you that will be released every second and fourth Monday of the month. They are workouts that you can easily do in the comfort of your own home – there are no excuses!

I hope you come back to find out what I have prepared for you!

And remember, ladies. Your fitness is a journey. Be patient with yourself and stay motivated. Instant gratification doesn’t work on a fitness journey…take one day at a time & love every minute of it.
